They plan to get volunteers to help them pack bags of food and ship them to Honduras for distribution. We talked to NHS advisor Cindy Prewitt, who tells us how the idea got started.

She tells us more about how “Then Feed Just One” works.

Prewitt tells us that there is a $30 donation required to participate, but that can be covered several ways.

Volunteers can be high school age or above.

She says if you can’t pack bags, monetary donations are also welcome. The food packing event is scheduled for Sunday, April 12 from 3:00 – 7:30 PM at the East Elementary multi-purpose room.
