Miss Evelyn Kraai, age 97, of Orange City, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at the Prairie Ridge Care Center in Orange City.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday, November 21, at 1:00pm, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. The Rev. Mark Haverdink will officiate. Interment will be at the West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City.
Evelyn’s body was cremated, as she requested.
Mrs. Beverly Vanden Brink, age 88, of Sioux Center, formerly of Boyden, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at the Royale Meadows Care Center in Sioux Center.
There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, November 20, at 10:30am, at the United Presbyterian Church in Boyden. The Rev. John Ornée will officiate. Interment will follow at the Sheridan Township Cemetery near Boyden.
Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Tuesday, with the family present from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the church.
Arrangements are with the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.
Mr. John Reinders, age 97, of Fremont, Michigan, formerly of Orange City, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the Fountain View Retirement Home in Fremont.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 23, at 11:00 am, at the Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Robert Drenten will officiate. Interment will be prior to the service at the West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City. There will be a family prayer service on Saturday, at 10:00 am, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.
Visitation will be after 4:00 pm on Friday, with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Katherine Wibben, age 63 of Rock Rapids, IA died Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Lyon Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Rock Rapids.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Peace Lutheran Church in Rock Rapids, IA, with Reverend Mark Hansen officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids.
Visitation will be Monday, November 18th from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will also be a VFW Auxiliary service at 7:00 p.m., all at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids, which is in charge of the arrangements for 63-year old Katherine Wibben of Rock Rapids.

Katherine Irene Wibben was born on October 2, 1950 in Rock Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar “George” and Edna Mae (Joslyn) Kautz. Kathi grew up in Rock Rapids and attended school there and later graduated in 1968. She went on to beauty school at the Sun Coast Beauty College in Florida and she later went back to school to receive her teaching certificate. After a previous marriage and divorce Kathi married Gary Wibben on December 16, 1977 at a Lutheran church in Valley Springs, South Dakota. To this union one daughter, Jennifer was born. The couple lived in Minnesota for a time and moved to Rock Rapids in 1986. Kathi worked for Golden Crest Bakery in Rock Rapids for eight years, Luverne Truck Equipment for thirteen years and the last couple years she worked at the Grand Falls Casino. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Kathi enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband Gary, fishing in her early years, she was an excellent cook, loved the outdoors and especially spending time with grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Kathi is survived by her husband of almost thirty-six years, Gary Wibben of Rock Rapids, IA; children, Jennifer (Bryan) Wynia of Hull, IA, Shelli (Jordan) Rosen of Coarsegold, CA, Tammi Kremin of Lismore, MN, Amy (Clayton) Huismann of Rock Rapids, IA and Melissa (Jason) Tuin of Bigelow, MN; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Georgette (Kyle) Jones of Watson, MN and Rebecca (Terry) Wassather of Golden Valley, MN; sister-in-law, Glenna (Daryl) Klaassen of Rock Rapids, IA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister in infancy, Dona Leah; one brother, Donald Kautz; and a mother-in-law that meant a lot to her, Jennie Johnson.

57-year old Mary DeZeeuw of Spencer, passed away Saturday November 16th at Longhouse Residence in Spencer.
Funeral service will be Tuesday morning at 10:30 at Hope Reformed Church in Spencer, with Pastor Russell Muilenburg officiating, with burial in Riverside Cemetery at Spencer.
Visitation will be after 2:30 Monday afternoon, with the family present Monday evening from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Warner Funeral Home of Spencer, which is in charge of the arrangements for 57-year old Mary DeZeeuw of Spencer.
