Dena BroesderDena Broesder, age 94 of Sibley, IA, formerly of Little Rock, IA died Saturday October 26, 2013 at Sibley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Sibley, IA.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 30th at First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, with Reverend Scott Burdsall officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Little Rock.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock.

Joanne Kay Hinrichs

candleJoanne Kay Hinrichs, age 71 of Guttenberg, IA passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at her home.

Graveside memorial service will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley, IA, with Reverend Bruce Wilterdink officiating.

Family is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Arthur Kooiker, age 93, of Hull, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at the Sanford Senior Care in Sheldon.

There will be a memorial service on Thursday, October 24, at 11:00am, at the American Reformed Church in Hull.  The Rev. Steven Bierly will officiate.  Interment will be prior to the service at the Hope Cemetery in Hull.  There will be a prayer service on Thursday, at 10:00am, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Visitation will be after 5:00pm on Wednesday, with the family present from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the funeral home.

Funeral-female1Ramona Schmidt, age 81 of Hartley, IA, passed away at the Primghar Rehabilitation & Care Center in Primghar, IA on Thursday, September 26, 2013.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hartley, IA.

Visitation will be at the Church one hour prior to the memorial service with the family present at that time. Inurnment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Scotland, SD at a later date.

The Hartley Funeral Home in Hartley is in charge of the arrangements for 81 year-old Ramona Schmidt of Hartley, IA.

KlaahsenElizabeth Klaahsen, age 98 of George, IA died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Sanford Hospital in Rock Rapids, IA.

The funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 23rd, 2013 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in George, IA, with Rev. Dale Lint officiating. Burial will take place prior to the service at Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in George.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home of George.

There will be a prayer service on Tuesday, at 1:30pm, at the American Reformed Church in Hull.

Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Monday, with the family present from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the American Reformed Church.
