 Joyce PetrichJoyce Petrich, age 93 of Sisseton, SD, formerly of Sanborn, IA, passed away in Sisseton on Friday, July 19, 2013.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 24th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Sanborn, with Rev. Thomas A. Connors officiating.  Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery in Sanborn.

Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday, July 23rd from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m.

The Sanborn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for 93 year-old Joyce Petrich of Sisseton, SD, formerly of Sanborn.

Gary Van Otterloo

69 year old Gary Van Otterloo of Milford  passed away July 18, 2013 at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 at 10:30am at First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 21st after 3:00pm with the family present from 3:00-5:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford.

Lorraine K. Stueven

Lorraine K. Stueven, age 88 of George, IA died on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley, IA.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 23rd at St. John Lutheran Church rural Boyden, IA, with Rev. Robert Gordon officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery rural Boyden, IA.

Visitation will be Monday, July 22nd from 2:00 to 8:00 PM with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home of George, which is in charge of the arrangements for 88 year old Lorraine Steuven of George.

Janet Lyman Ferguson

Janet Lyman Ferguson, age 59 of Sanborn, IA, passed away at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD on Tuesday, July 16th.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19th at 1:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Sanborn, IA.  Rev. Thomas A. Connors will be officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 18th at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.   Burial will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery at Hartley.

The Sanborn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for 59 year-old Janet Ferguson of Sanborn.

Dr. Jerry D. Mohr

Funeral-male (1)Dr. Jerry D. Mohr, age 58 of Flagstaff, AZ and formerly of Hartley and May City area passed away in August of 2011 in Flagstaff, AZ.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 17th  at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley.

The Hartley Funeral Home in Hartley is in charge of the arrangements for 58 year-old old Dr. Jerry D. Mohr of Flagstaff AZ, formerly of  the Hartley and May City area.

Alvin Rieck, age 93 of Hartley, IA and formerly of Ocheyedan, IA,  passed away at the Milford Nursing Center in Milford, IA, on Thursday, July 11, 2013.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15th  at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in May City, with Pastor Paul Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be at the Hartley Funeral Home in Hartley on Sunday, July 14th  from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with the family will be present at that time. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley.
