Ron Spengler, age 65, of Ocheyedan, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. at the Andringa Funeral Chapel in Ocheyedan.

Private Memorial Services and Burial will be at a later date.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be given to Osceola County Conservation Board. Online Expressions of Sympathy can be sent to www.andringafuneralhome.com

Lemoin Bruzer, age 94 of George, IA died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Center in George, IA.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday August 22, 2013 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in George with Rev. Dr. Paul Soderquist officiating. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in George.

Family will have a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. to time of service on Thursday at the church. Jurrens Funeral Home is in charge of services.

Eugene HospersEugene Hospers, age 65, of Hull, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, August 21, at 2:30pm, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. Loren Kotman will officiate. Interment will be prior to the service at the Hope Cemetery in Hull. There will be a prayer service on Wednesday, at 1:30pm, at the church.

Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Tuesday, with the family present from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at the church.

Arrangements are being completed by the Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Marvin Auchstetter

Marvin AuchstetterMarvin Auchstetter, age 83, of Hospers, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Sanford University of South Dakota Medical Center in Sioux Falls.

There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, August 21, at 10:30am, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Hospers. The Rev. Fr. Terry Roder will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Tuesday, with a parish rosary at 5:00pm and a vigil prayer service at 7:00pm, at the church. Arrangements are with the Oolman Funeral Home in Hospers.

Jody StettnichsJody L. Stettnichs, age 48 of Rock Rapids, IA died Tuesday August 13, 2013 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Rapids, IA with Rev. Dan Kordahl officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids.

Visitation will be Friday August 16th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM with family present from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jurrens Funeral Home in Rock Rapids.

Bernard Den Beste Bernard Den Beste, age 91, of Sheldon, Iowa, formerly of Melvin, Iowa, passed away.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, August 14, at the Sanborn Funeral Home Chapel in Sanborn, Iowa from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A private family service and burial will be held at a later date.
