Kathleen “Kathy” Langstraat

Miss Kathleen “Kathy” Langstraat, age 56, of Boyden, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at her residence.

There will be a memorial service on Monday, August 13, at 10:30am, at the First Reformed Church in Boyden.  The Rev. Matthew Draffen will officiate.  Interment will be prior to the service at the West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City.  There will be a prayer service on Monday, at 9:15am, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.

Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Sunday, with the family present from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, at the funeral home.

Note: Citizen’s State Bank of Sheldon and Boyden will be closed Monday, August 13th from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM to attend the funeral of their longtime friend and co-worker.

 

Claus Klingenberg

Claus Klingenberg, age 93 of George, IA died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Center at George, IA.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 10th at Zoar Presbyterian Church at George, IA with Rev. Dale Lint, officiating. Burial will follow in the Zoar Presbyterian Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 9th from 2:00- 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Jurrens Funeral Home of George.

Richard L. Landman

Mr. Richard Landman, age 89, of  Hull, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital in Sioux Center.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, August 8, at 11:00am, at the First Reformed Church in Hull.  The Rev. Verlyn Boone will officiate.  Interment will be prior to the service at the Hope Cemetery in Hull.  There will be a prayer service on Wednesday, at 10:00am, at the Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Tuesday, with the family present from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at the funeral home.

Edith Moeller

Edith Moeller, age 86 of Rock Rapids, IA died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Rock Rapids Health Centre.

Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 6th at the United Congregational Church in Rock Rapids, IA, with Rev. Dean Shelly officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids.

Family and friends may gather at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids at 9:00 AM Monday morning and process to the Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids for burial.

Robert Wilkens

Robert Wilkens, age 80 of Sanborn, IA and formerly of Archer, IA passed away at the Prairie View Nursing Home in Sanborn, IA on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 4th at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Archer. Rev. Cory Flanigan will be officiating.

Visitation will be at the Sanborn Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3rd with the family present from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening. Burial will be at East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon.

Craig Hollenbeck, age 53, of Sheldon, Iowa, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at his home in Sheldon.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Andringa Funeral Home Sheldon Funeral Service in Sheldon. Pastor Craig Nissen officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 4, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at the Andringa Funeral Home Sheldon Funeral Service in Sheldon. Cremation will be after the Funeral Service.
