Time changes for the Sibley-Ocheyedan Cross-Country meet today:
MS Girls will run at 5:30
MS Boys at 5:50
V Girls at 6:10
V Boys at 6:40
The Sheldon bus will now leave at 4:00 p.m.
If Sibley gets any more rain they are planning to cancel.
Road Closures:
U.S. 18 between Hartley and the east O’Brien County line — from Vine Avenue
to 100th Avenue — will close starting Wednesday, Sept. 16, through Thursday,
Oct. 1, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of
Transportation’s Cherokee construction office.
Crews will close U.S. 18 in both directions to install a scrub seal and
perform micro surfacing, part of a pavement maintenance project. When the
roadway is closed, drivers will follow a marked detour route using O’Brien
County roads M-12, B-20 and M-22.
