O’Brien County, Iowa — A Hartley woman was arrested Sunday morning on an O’Brien County warrant.
According to a news release from the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office, about 9:00 am Sunday (December 30th) deputies arrested 47-year old Shelly Lynn Ohrt, of Hartley, on an O’Brien County bench warrant Charging Contempt of Court. Officials say the warrant stems from an original charge of Delivery of Methamphetamine, which is a Class B Felony.
Deputies say the original charge stems from a long-term criminal investigation conducted in cooperation with the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.
According to the press release, Ohrt was transported to the O’Brien County Jail where she posted bond and was released. She will appear in court at a later date.
