OC Man Faces Felony Drug Charges

Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City man faces felony charges following his arrest in the wee hours of Friday morning.

According to Sioux County authorities, the incident began with the report by someone who said they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from an Orange City residence. Officers say they confirmed the report, and obtained and executed a search warrant for the residence of 39-year-old Daryl Dailey, Jr. in Orange City

Deputies say Dailey was arrested about 2:00 Friday morning, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. The drug possession charges are both Class D Felonies, according to the Iowa Code.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Orange City Police Department.
