2017 Sheldon Coats For Kids Went Well

Sheldon, Iowa — The “Coats for Kids” drive and distribution in Sheldon went well this year. That’s from Pastor Craig Nissen, of the Sheldon Ministerial Association. The distribution phase was this past Saturday morning at the Sheldon Community Services Center.

He tells us about it.

He says the program would be impossible without the generosity of Sheldon area folks who donate.

On an interesting side note, Pastor Nissen says they’ve noticed that weather plays a factor in the coat distribution each year.

He says that everyone that came appeared to find what they needed.

Nissen says he wants to thank the community and the volunteers for what they did to get the outerwear to the people that needed it.
