6th Annual Sheldon Gun Show Is This Weekend

handgun-gunSheldon, Iowa — The 6th Annual Sheldon Gun & Outdoor Sports Show is set to open this Saturday morning (February 25th) at the National Guard Armory in Sheldon.

Ted Bruning of Southern Archery in Spencer is the organizer of this show, and we asked him how the Sheldon show got it’s start.

Bruning says this year’s show promises to be the biggest yet, with something for everyone.

He talks about some of the items Southern Archery will be bringing to the show on Saturday.

Bruning says that, in addition, Southern Archery will have a selection of lubricants, and accessories, as well as a group of guns at wholesale prices.

The 6th Annual Sheldon Gun Show will open it’s doors Saturday morning at 8, and will run until 5 pm.  In addition to the vendors who will be set up, the Sheldon Hy-Vee Kitchen will have breakfast, and lunch available on-site, so you can grab a bite right on the show premises.

At this point there are still some vendor tables available for Saturday’s show.  Contact Mark Rector at 712-324-1789 for more information.

The show will be held at the Sheldon National Guard Armory, located at 920 Western Avenue in Sheldon, or about 3-1/2 blocks south of Highway 18 on Sheldon’s west side.
