Sheldon, Iowa — An agriculture-related business with a facility in Sheldon has won a prestigious industry award.
Ag Partners has been named the 2016 Crop Adviser/Entrepreneur of the Year by the PrecisionAg Institute. This award, now in its tenth year, recognizes outstanding people, programs and organizations that are making a difference in the precision ag industry through its PrecisionAg Awards of Excellence.
Ag Partners is being honored for its innovation in precision agriculture through its InSiteCDM program – a unique crop data management program that helps producers maximize profits and make more efficient inputs – as well as its leadership in the precision ag arena through its partnerships and forward thinking.
A leader in the industry, Ag Partners started variable rate fertilizer application and crop protection more than 20 years ago, making them some of the first to provide that practice in the area.

A representative from Ag Partners will accept the award at the InfoAg Conference August 2-4 in St. Louis, Mo.
