Sheldon, Iowa — Not only is this homecoming week at Sheldon schools, but it’s also what amounts to homecoming at Northwest Iowa Community College.
For the last several years, NCC’s annual celebration and gathering week has been called “Days of Thunder,” in reference to the college’s mascot — a mountain lion, named “Thunder.”
Nicole Steele, NCC’s coordinator of residence life and student activities says that Monday’s activities included a Constitution Day forum, where students and others heard from local legislators and were able to ask questions and give their opinions. She tells us about the rest of the week’s activities.
