Pavilion Board Preparing For Anniversary Celebration

Sheldon, Iowa — The Crossroads Pavilion Board met in regular session Wednesday evening, with a modest agenda to work through.

Pavilion Board Secretary Pete Hamill says much conversation at Wednesday’s meeting revolved around the September 14th Killer Vees performance, which is a Neil Diamond tribute show. Hamill says the Board decided that, in the interest of trying to thank the facilitiy’s major donors, these individuals will be given a certain number of tickets to the Killer Vees show.

He says the Board is now working to get ready for the September 14th show, which will also serve as the 1st anniversary celebration for the facility. Hamill says the Board is also meeting with representatives of the Pearson Lakes Art Center to facilitate collaborations between the two facilities.

Hamill told KIWA that the other noteworthy item from Wednesday’s Crossroads Pavilion Board meeting was the official welcome to the facility’s new Assistant General Manager, Heather Jacobs.
