Rock Valley, Iowa — It’s the summer festival season. Rock Valley takes their turn this week with “Rally in the Valley.”
Rock Valley Community Activities Director Adam Rosman tells us they’ve got all the fun lined up.
The pageant is at the school auditorium at 7 Wednesday night. Thursday night they’ve got a lumberjack show, community picnic, dunk tank, rope ladder, snacks, a wing-eating contest, and the fireman challenge, all at Bi-Centennial Park.
The Hegg Memorial golf tournament, cruise night, and food downtown including hot dogs, popcorn, and cotton candy are all on Friday. Some of the Thursday activities and Friday night’s food are fundraisers for Project Youth. Rosman tells us about Friday night’s street dance.
