Ribbon Cut At Los Panchos Mexican Restaurant

Sheldon, Iowa – Sheldon Chamber & Development Corporation members and other local dignitaries were on hand Friday morning for the ribbon cutting at Sheldon’s newest restaurant.

Frank Zamora and his family, the former owners of La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant in Sioux Center, now own and operate Los Panchos Mexican Restaurant in Sheldon.

Sheldon Mayor, Katricia Meendering spoke at the ribbon cutting, and thanked the Zamora family for their commitment to Sheldon.

Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth took the opportunity to congratulate the Zamora family on their new restaurant, and welcomed them to the Sheldon business community.

Skip Tanner spoke on behalf of the Sheldon Ambassadors, and presented the Zamoras with a plaque commemorating the ribbon cutting.

The Zamora’s daughter, Hailey, told the gathering about Los Panchos Restaurant.

Los Panchos is located at the intersection of Highway 18 and 2nd Avenue, in the old A&W building in Sheldon. They’re open Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 9 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 8 pm. The Zamora family invites your family to come dine with them soon.
