Sheldon, Iowa — Several local dignitaries were on hand this (Friday) morning for a ribbon cutting at the new Sheldon branch of North Star Community Credit Union,
SCDC President Kevin Cain began the festivities by welcoming North Star to the Sheldon business community.
Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth echoed Cain’s sentiments, thanking North Star for their committment to the Sheldon community.
As President of the Ambassadors Club, Skip Tanner presented North Star’s Ryan Francis with a plaque containing a section of the ribbon from Friday morning’s festivities.
Francis talked about some of the services North Star Community Credit Union offers.
Jeff Hayes is CEO of North Star, and he talks about the history of the credit union, and how they came to open an office in Sheldon.
North Star Community Credit Union’s Sheldon office is located in the Crossroads Court strip mall, on the north side of Highway 18 in the Sheldon Crossing section. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 to 5, Friday from 9 to 6, and Saturday from 9 to noon.
