RiseFest Partners With P4:13 Ministries

RiseFest 2017Sheldon, Iowa — RiseFest, the Christian music festival held in Sheldon each Father’s Day weekend has announced a partnership for this year’s festival with P4:13 Ministries, in the Rise On The Road Youth Tent, and Tween Area at RiseFest 2017.

P4:13 Ministries was founded by the parents of Marcus Haney, a teenager who died in a traffic accident in 2015.  Rise Ministries Founder and President Rob Roozeboom tells us more.

Roozeboom says the purpose of P4:13 Ministries is to send teenagers on mission trips.

He says that raising the funds to send these teenagers on the mission trips began at Marcus’ memorial service.

Roozeboom says RiseFest is More than Music, It’s a Mission. And he says that slogan is carried out in multiple ways over the course of the festival weekend, including the partnership with P4:13 Ministries.

RiseFest 2017 will be held Friday June 16th, and Saturday June 17th in Sheldon.  Roozeboom says now is the best time to buy your tickets.  He says Earlybird Ticket Specials are available through the end of April.

He says a small army of volunteers are also still needed for this year’s festival.  To purchase tickets, or to become a RiseFest volunteer, visit Rise Ministries website at riseministries.com.
