Sheldon High Crowns Homecoming King & Queen

Sheldon, Iowa — This is Homecoming week at the Sheldon Community Schools, and the high school crowned their Homecoming King and Queen in a Coronation ceremony held Tuesday night in the high school gym.

Queen candidates were Orab seniors: Ashley Brouwer, daughter of Mike Brouwer and Trisha Brouwer; Raegan Freeman, daughter of Tyler and Nichole Freeman; Sydney Olson, daughter of Matt and Rachel Olson; Hannah Uhl, daughter of Todd Uhl and Wendy Robinson; and Madison Van Meeteren, daughter of Mike and Tami Van Meeteren.

Candidates for Homecoming King included: Brennan Chester, son of Jason Chester and Tresa Chester; Troy Enger, son of Troy and Jeymmy Enger; Trey Iedema, son of Troy and Jen Iedema; TK Lang, son of Chad and Sara Lang; and Mitchel Wolf, son of Ryan and Tabby Wolf.

The Coronation ceremony culminated in the coronation of Reagan Freeman, the daughter of Tyler and Nichole Freeman as 2019 Orab Homecoming Queen. The Homecoming King’s crown now rests atop the head of TK Lang, the son of Chad and Sarah Lang.

Queen Reagan and King TK will now reign over the remaining Homecoming activities, including Friday night’s Homecoming football game against Estherville-Lincoln Central.
