Sibley Domestic Disturbance Call Leads To Felony Charge

Sibley, Iowa — A domestic disturbance investigation in Sibley earlier this week led to one felony and multiple misdemeanor charges against a 31-year old Sibley man.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to the domestic disturbance call at a Sibley residence, and reportedly arrested Pablo Rogelio Marchessini. According to authorities, Marchessini is charged with Assault Causing Serious Injury, a Class D Felony, as well as possession of Marijuana – 3rd Offense, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. Deputies also accuse Marchessini of Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Interference with Official Acts, all Simple Misdemeanors.

According to authorities, Marchessini also had two active warrants for Failure to Appear on charges of Driving Under Suspension and Supplying Alcohol to Person Under Legal Age.  He was booked into the Osceola County Jail where, as of late Friday morning, he was being held on a $6,300 bond.
