Sheldon, Iowa — The 5th Annual Northwest Iowa Community College/KIWA Radio Thunder Road Race is less than three weeks away, but we’ll reach one important deadline this week.
The deadline for the early-bird registration is this Wednesday, October 12th. NCC Foundation Coordinator and Alumni Relations Person, Kristi Landis, tells us more.
The 2016 Thunder Road Race is Saturday, October 29th, and Landis says runners are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes in the event.
She says that, in addition to running in the event, your registration fee also includes a commemorative t-shirt.
Registration can be completed by visiting www.allsportcentral.com.
Landis says people have the option of picking up their race packet the night before the race. She says that can be done at NCC’s Lifelong Learning and Recreation Center on the east side of campus. She says to be sure to keep up-to-date with the race by liking the race’s page on Facebook and on the college web site at nwicc.edu. All proceeds from the race benefit student scholarships.
