Sheldon, Iowa — The 4th Annual NCC/KIWA Thunder Road Race is a week from Saturday, and will cap off Homecoming Week, or Days Of Thunder, at Northwest Iowa Community College.
Kristi Landis is Foundation Coordinator and Alumni Relations Person at Northwest Iowa Community College, and she says the early-bird registration period for the Thunder Road Race ends tomorrow.
She says that, even if you miss the early-bird deadline, you’ll still be able to register by visiting allsportcentral.com, but you may not get your commemorative shirt before the race.
Landis talks about the route for this year’s NCC/KIWA Thunder Road Race.
She says the race starts at 9 am, but runners will want to be there earlier.
Landis says that, since the race takes place so close to Halloween, there will be some extra fun for those runners who want to take part.
The 4th Annual NCC/KIWA Thunder Road Race is Saturday, October 24th, and all funds raised go to support NCC student scholarships.
