Two SHS Speech Groups To Take Part In All-State Large Group Speech Festival

Sheldon-Schools-logoSheldon, Iowa — Two speech groups from Sheldon Community High School have been selected to take part in the Iowa High School Speech Association All-State Large Group Speech Festival later this month.

According to an email from Sheldon High School Principal Sherrie Zeutenhorst, the two groups are the Ensemble Acting group performing “Murder By Midnight”, and the Short Film group performing “Corridor Cop”.

The “Murder By Midnight” Ensemble Acting group is made up of Parker Nissen, Sara Siebrecht, and Steven Van Meeteren.

Students in the Short Film category, “Corridor Cop” are Rebecca Beldt, Skyler Madsen, Dominique Serrano, Kelsey Van Drie, Kaitlyn Vote, Ben Jongewaard, Harrison Nordgaard, and T.K. Lang.

The Iowa High School Speech Association All-State Large Group Speech Festival will be held on Saturday, February 18th in Ames.
