You May Have To Wait To See Local Actor’s Network TV Debut

tobimattingly2aNorthwest Iowa — It now appears that northwest Iowans will have to wait an additional week to see one of their own make her network television debut.

Last week we told you about Tobi Mattingly’s scheduled appearance on the NBC drama ‘Chicago Fire’, which was scheduled for next Tuesday night, January 17th.  However, today Mattingly advised us that the casting agency for that show had announced that there will be no new ‘Chicago Fire’  episode aired tonight (January 10th), which is a change from the previous schedule.

Mattingly says the change is apparently due to the networks pre-empting programming tonight to carry President Obama’s Farewell Speech.  As a result, the episode which had originally been scheduled to air this week, Episode #510, is now scheduled for the January 17th slot, the episode in which Mattingly appears, #511, will most likely now air Tuesday, January 24th.

So, if you have set your DVR to record the January 17th episode of ‘Chicago Fire’, to be sure and see Mattingly’s appearance, it appears you may want to set it for January 24th at 9:00 pm.

In Episode #511, which is entitled, ‘Who Lives And Who Dies’, Mattingly portrays the relative of a patient treated by two of the hit series’ regulars, who portray paramedics.
