Anna Kiel was named the NAIA Volleyball National Player of the Week announced by the national office earlier today. Kiel, along with teammates Lacey Wacker and Karsyn Winterfeld, claimed their respective GPAC honor this morning.
Kiel hit for 10+ kills in wins over No.5 Dordt and at Concordia, hitting a team-best .438 in the two match wins. The sophomore totaled 35 kills, averaging 4.3, per set, and has now hit for double figures in 14 straight matches. Kiel, who also earned the weekly GPAC honor on Sept. 5, ranks second in the NAIA with a .419 hitting percentage.
