Northwest Iowa Junior Golfers to Complete in Regionals Friday and Saturday

Northwest Iowa — An All-Star team of 13 and under junior golfers from northwest Iowa will be competing at the Regional level in Beloit Wisconsin Friday and Saturday looking to move on to the Championship in Arizona come November.

The North-West All-Stars won the Nebraska PGA Jr. League Championship last month at Shadow Ridge Country Club in Omaha. They will be competing against teams from Waukesha, Wisconsin, Blaine, Minnesota and Dubuque, Iowa in the Regional this weekend.

Following the close of their regular season on July 31st 10 player All-Star teams were formed from a combination of players in each league based on the final league standings. The North West All Star team includes Kinsley Rector, Leyton Roetman, Titan Hulstein and Caleb Douma from the Ridge in Sioux Center. Carson and Davis Korver along with Tait Groeneweg are from Landsmeer in Orange City. The remainder of the squad includes Trevor Cooke, Kaden Miller and Jace Danbom from the Spencer Country Club.

Karrie Van Ravensway of the Ridge is the team captain. Their coach is Jonathan Beaver from Landsmeer. The Championship will be decided at Grayhawk Golf Club November 16th through the 19th in Scottsdale Arizona. 12 Regional winners nationwide will make up the Championship field.
