Sheldon, Iowa — The Unity Christian Knights rolled to a 74-32 win against Emmetsburg in a Class 2A District 1 play-in game in Sheldon on Monday night.
Unity Christian jumped out to a quick 9-0 lead in the opening minutes, and at the end of the 1st quarter it was 20-7 Knights. At halftime Unity extended their lead to 42-21. After three, Unity’s lead was 58-27, and the Knights went on to win 74-32.
Unity got a game high 19 points from Mason Post.
Emmetsburg’s leading scorer was Blake Vermulm with 10 points.
Unity improves to 13-9 on the year and plays Pocahontas Area at Pocahontas on Thursday, February 16th at 7 pm. The E-Hawks end their year at 9-12.
