Orange City, Iowa — Davis Van Roekel of Hull, Iowa has signed a letter of intent to continue his golf career at Northwestern College this spring.
Van Roekel comes to Northwestern after spending a semester at the University of South Dakota. A four-year letterwinner at Boyden-Hull, Van Roekel earned all-conference honors three years, including first team accolades as senior. Also a second team all-conference selection as a sophomore and junior, Van Roekel has an 18-hole average of 80 and a tournament personal best of 75.
He is the son of Brad and Lorinda.
“We are excited to add Davis to our roster this spring,” said Northwestern head coach Aaron Aberson. “Davis really improved his game during his senior year and I expect that to continue during his time at Northwestern. He will certainly add depth to our roster and will help push his teammates to improve.”
