Wolf Named Cross Country Coach Of The Year

Dordt College’s Nate Wolf has been named the Great Plains Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in both women’s and men’s cross country.

Wolf guided both Defender teams to the GPAC Championship on Saturday, November 3. Dordt also crowned individual champions in both races. It’s the first time since the formation of the GPAC that the team champion and individual champion in both races have come from the same school.

“As an athletic department we congratulate Coach Wolf on this latest honor. Nate administers a cross country program in which he holistically develops student-athletes under his watch. In addition, Coach Wolf has annually demonstrated he has the propensity to get his runners to peak their performances at the conclusion of the season. We value Nate’s presence and work on our campus,” said Dordt College Athletic Director Nate Wolf.

Wolf has previously won the women’s GPAC award in 2015 and 2017.

Both Dordt College teams will be competing at the NAIA National Championships on Friday, November 16.
