Justin Kraft headlines a list of four Red Raider players, along with Head Coach Aaron Aberson, to take home postseason honors as announced by the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) earlier today.
The NAIA revealed the 45 teams that make up the 2018 NAIA National Championship Opening Round, hosted at nine locations around the country. Northwestern College earned the No.5 seed in the five-team Upland Bracket (Ind.), hosted by Taylor University at Winterholter Field in Upland, Ind. They are joined by top seed and seventh-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan, No.2 seed / 24th-ranked Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), No.3 seed (RV) Cumberland (Tenn.) and No.4 seed and host Taylor.
Northwest Iowa — Tournament golf for the boys began Thursday with the sectional round. Some Area athletes in Class 1A, 2A and 3A will have their first round of action. The rest will see action Friday. It was also State qualifying day for State Track and Field. Sheldon hosted a 2A meet at Orab Field.

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The 2018 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball All-Conference team has been announced after a vote of league coaches. The 2018 GPAC All-Conference Team consists of 17 first-team members and 18 second-team members, and an honorable mention list.
