would just like to say thank you to the city crews around the area cleaning up debris from the ice storm.   Also thanks to the power company employees working to restore power under less then ideal conditions.

Did you all see the power trucks at the motel? They are getting ready. Tough job. I agree thank you guys/gals.

  2. Grow Up says:

I had some large branches on my lawn…not even on city property. The city came and took them away. I am appreciative to have such service provided.

Its great living in a small community!!

    • Rainbow says:

It’s not that it is a small community, but more of a fact we have a great street dept. and water dept. because of who works in those dept. They care about what they are doing.

  4. Jeff says:

All trucks at motel had meeting there this morning as I was swimming. I asked if they were opened with all those trucks out there!

  5. yardman says:

You wouldn’t be saying that if you had Alliant Energy. Poor service and when you call in they are very rude on the phone.

  6. Robert Keller says:

I remember that with Alliant! Thanks to the Woodbury County REC for getting my electricity on Sunday afternoon and the foreman from Rockwell City Iowa who was trying to get everything going while working with multiple REC crews.

  7. chocotaco says:

City workers, please pick up the branches on South 10th. Kids have stood on them and can hurt themselves at the bus stop in the morning. But thank you to all your help. Go Dean!
