Harvest, Fall Field Work Nearing Full Completion; Focus Switching To Planning, Education

Northwest Iowa — The bow is being tied on the 2021 harvest, and most farmers are pleased with the results.

Iowa State University Extension Agronomist Joel De Jong says most fields have been harvested.

Even most of the fall tillage, manure application, and so forth is wrapping up now.

And speaking of planning, that’s the focus that De Jong is switching to as well.
