The Sheldon High School’s Student Leadership Team would like to invite the community to recognize Senior Master Sergeant Royd Chambers for his many years of service during an assembly on Friday, January 10 at 1:25 pm in the high school auditorium. 

Mr. Chambers retired from military service on December 17, 2019. Mr. Chambers served active duty in the Air Force and in the Iowa Air National Guard for a total of 26 years, and also served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2003-2013. 

In addition, Mr. Chambers has been a Social Studies teacher at the Sheldon Community High School since 1994. Please join us to recognize Mr. Chambers’ service to our community, state, and nation on Friday, January 10! Refreshments will be served afterwards in the high school commons.
