The City of Sheldon wants to remind Sheldon residents that their City Code allows fireworks to be shot off from July 1 through July 4.
Here are the hours:
- July 1 – 2: Noon through 10 p.m.
- July 3: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. Except when July 3 falls on a Saturday or Sunday preceding July 4, in which fireworks shall be allowed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
- July 4: 9 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Also, fireworks can only be shot off on your property only.
