The Community Blood Bank will have a Blood Drive at the Osecola Regional Health Center Tuesday, July 29th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Then after lunch it will reopen from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Donors can schedule a donation by calling the hospital at 712-754-5358. As a token of appreciation, all donors will receive a $15 Kwik Star gift card as a thank-you gift for their contribution.
Donors should be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good general health. It’s recommended that donors eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating. The donation process typically takes about 30 minutes, with the actual blood collection taking only 8-10 minutes. Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments are encouraged to minimize wait times.
