Conquering Cancer 4 O’Brien County is holding a Celebration of Life event, honoring survivors of cancer and those who have passed from this life.
This event will be held at the Crossroads Pavilion in Sheldon Tuesday, Oct. 1st. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and a free will donation for a catered meal will be served at 6:30 p.m.
The evening will consist of speakers from insitutions receiving money from Conquering Cancer 4 O’Brien County fund-raising projects, as well as people touched by cancer. There will also be a silent auction of homemade desserts for a Conquering Cancer 4 O’Brien County fundraiser.
Most importantly, Conquering Cancer 4 O’Brien County will he holding a rememberance service for survivors and those lost to cancer with a flower toss around the pond.
Please contact a board member by September 15 if you plan to attend, so Conquering Cancer 4 O’Brien County can have an approximate number for the caterer.
