The Sioux County Conservation Board will host a Cyanotype Art Class on Saturday, May 30th from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Prairie Woods Nature Center.
Guest artist Aubrey Kellen, a University of South Dakota student, will lead participants through the cyanotype process, including a short nature hike to collect materials and hands‑on instruction to create a cyanotype print to take home.
All ages are welcome, but children under 11 will need adult assistance. There is no cost, but preregistration is required at siouxcountyparks.org. Registration the day of the class may be done by messaging 712‑441‑9029.
Participants are encouraged to bring a snack and drink. Those wishing to stay for a sack lunch afterward may bring one along.
