Community Health Partners and Orange City Area Health System are hosting a Dementia Prevention program designed for anyone age 50-plus who does not have a dementia diagnosis and would like to learn more about ways to help prevent, or delay the disease.
The program includes 10 scheduled classes, one-on-one meetings with subject matter experts, snacks, learning materials, and more. The classes are held Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a,m,, March 13th through May 15th, at Kanaal Huis at The Canals, the 55+ living community located at 1311 Canal Ct. SE in Orange City.
There is a $40 sign-up fee, with $20 refunded to those who attend at least 8 sessions. Space is limited. Register by March 6th by calling CHP at 712-737-2971 or emailing angela.loutsch@siouxcountychp.org.
