Happening Saturday, September 13th, it is Dutch Oven Gathering at the Prairie Woods Nature Center.
Calling all Dutch Oven Cookers! The Prairie Woods Nature Center will be hosting a gathering for Dutch Oven Cooking.
Dishes will include the following: breads, appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Dishes will be judged with first place awarded in each category. There will be a potluck meal afterwards.
You must preregister by calling 712-552-3057 to sign up as a cooker. The first 10 cookers will receive a free campsite for Saturday night, September 13th.
The public is welcome to come observe and ask questions, starting at 3:30 p.m. A meal will follow at 6:00 p.m. Please bring a dish along to share.
