Full Moon Hike

February 19 @ 6:30pm

Strap on your snowshoes or boots – depending on the ground cover – and enjoy a stroll through the crisp winter evening air.  The O’Brien County Conservation Board is holding a Full Moon Hike on Tuesday, February 19.  Meet at the Prairie Heritage Center at 6:30 p.m. for a hike along the path.  The full moon should be rising, stars should be crisp in the dark sky, and often the sounds of coyotes and owls fill the air.

Dress in sturdy shoes and warm clothes.  Come out and explore the natural world in the cover of darkness!    If there is enough snow on the ground, snowshoes will be available for use.  The activity is appropriate for people of all ages and provided at no charge.

For more information, contact the Conservation Board at 712-295-7200.
