The George Recreational Trail Committee is proud to announce that they will be hosting a “5k Fun Run and 1 mile-ish Walk” in conjunction with the annual Freedom Days festivities.
The run will be held on Saturday, July 5th, at 8:00 a.m. with packet pick-up encouraged the evening of Friday, July 4th. Awards will be given to the top three 5k finishers in each age & gender bracket. The race will be held on the Recreation Trail, with the race beginning at the intersection of L-14 and A-34 (also known as Locker Pond).
