Join the Prairie Woods Nature Center for Granparents Day Tuesday, August 5th.
The Prairie Woods Nature Center will have an open house for grandparents and their grandchildren. The day’s theme is unhuggables! There will be activities around the unhuggable animals of Iowa and they will be available at the Prairie Woods Nature Center from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Prairie Woods Nature Center will also have an Unhuggables scavengar drive through the loop in the campground. Special live programs are also scheduled for 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. These activities and programs are geared for kids in Kindergarten to fifth-grade and their grandpartents. No pre-registration is required. The Prairie Woods Nature Center hopes to see you there!
