Prairie Woods Nature Center will host a Hunter Safety Field Day on Saturday, March 14, with sessions from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.
This half‑day class is open to ages 11 and older and covers firearm safety, hunter ethics, hunting laws, and more, with a final exam at the end.
Participants must register for the class at gooutdoorsiowa.com (fee applies) and complete the online course at hunter‑ed.com before attending. Please dress for both indoor and outdoor weather.
