An artist reception for Melissa Van Egdom will be held March 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Prairie Woods Nature Center.
Guests are invited to meet the featured artist, enjoy refreshments, and explore her work during this open‑house style event. Melissa (Daale) Van Egdom of Hull draws inspiration from her farm upbringing and her deep appreciation for animals.
Her portfolio includes commissioned pieces ranging from pets and farm scenes to commercial buildings, semi‑trucks, memorial works, and wedding or engagement paintings. Kahoot the Barred Owl will also make a special appearance.
