The Public Ice Fishing Clinic at Sandy Hollow Recreation Area is now set for 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31.
Bring a bucket to sit on, and the rest will be provided. Enjoy pre‑drilled holes and provided gear, as well as tips from guest instructor and Clam Outdoors Pro Rowan Oostra from Sioux Center.
Entry fee to the park is waived during the time of the event. Those aged 16 and over actively fishing must have a valid Iowa fishing license.
Food supplies are provided by Sioux Center HyVee and Sioux County Conservation Foundation. Door prizes are provided by Vexilar, Clam, Robohawk, Sioux County Conservation, and Sioux Prairie Pheasants Forever.
