As part of the ongoing effort to clean-up Sheldon and showcase our community, the Sheldon Marketing Committee would like to encourage and invite ALL Sheldon residents, service groups, clubs, and organizations to participate in Sheldon’s 19th ANNUAL Community Clean-Up Day on Friday, May 10 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. (Rain Date will be Friday, May 17).
The City of Sheldon is pleased to once again have Sheldon Middle School, St. Pat’s School and Sheldon Christian students joining in the clean-up efforts and we thank them for their enthusiasm and willingness to participate! The Sheldon Marketing Committee will gladly supply refreshments for all volunteers at the end of the clean-up event!
To make this event a success and really make a “clean sweep” of Sheldon, the City of Sheldon askes everyone participate. If you, your business, or your club/organization would be willing to adopt a specific project, please contact Shanelle Matus at the SCDC office at 324-2813 or smatus@cityofsheldon.com as soon as possible! A complete listing of all Adopt-A-Projects can be obtained at the SCDC office. We certainly encourage businesses and their employees to cleanup around their place of business as part of this effort as well!
