An exciting opportunity for youth to get involved in outdoor activities will be held on Saturday, October 19.  The O’Brien County Conservation Board is hosting a Youth Pheasant Hunt at the Crosbie Wildlife and Nature Youth Center, 4270 Roosevelt Avenue, Primghar.  The event begins at 8:00 a.m.

This will be followed by a warm up trap shoot.  Next, mentors will provide youth with a one-on-one pheasant hunt experience.  Lunch will be provided to participants.

This hunt is open to all youth between the ages of 12-15 who have passed the hunter safety course.   Event is sponsored by Mark’s Pump Sales and Service and O’Brien County Sportsmen’s Club.
