Blind Book Dates at the Sheldon Public Library
Ages 13-18 will be creating a blind book date for other YA readers. First, students will choose a YA book to put in their sack. Second, students will tape a sheet of paper on the sack containing the barcode number, genre, first line of the book, and a recommendation. Third, the students will decorate their paper sack. Once their sack is complete, they will put their book in the sack and staple the sack to close it. Students will also decorate a table to display all their blind book dates.
