Hunter Safety Field Day at Prairie Woods Nature Center
Prairie Woods Nature Center will host a Hunter Safety Field Day on Saturday, March 14, with sessions from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. This half‑day class is open to ages 11 and older and covers firearm safety, hunter ethics, hunting laws, and more, with a final exam at the end. Participants must register for the class at gooutdoorsiowa.com (fee applies) and complete the online course at hunter‑ed.com before attending. Please dress for both indoor and outdoor weather.
Veterans Burrito Brunch at the Primghar Community Building
A Veterans Burrito Brunch will be held Saturday, March 14 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Primghar Community Building. U.S. veterans and their families are invited to enjoy burritos and coffee while meeting the new O’Brien County Veteran Service Officer and family. The gathering is designed as a relaxed time to connect, ask questions, and build relationships within the veteran community.
