The Sheldon Hy-Vee and Fareway food stores, as well as the Sheldon Ministerial Association, are partnering with KIWA Radio to collect non-perishable food items for the O’Brien County UDMO Food Bank, as well as Love INC and Honor God Ministries.
Donations of non-perishable food items may be left at Fareway, or Hy-Vee in Sheldon, or at the participating Sheldon churches.
With the Federal Government shutdown, SNAP benefits are in limbo and more of our friends and neighbors are food insecure than ever before.
